In order to grow as a person and a leader, you must be vulnerable. You must open yourself up to potential damage in order that others you trust can see your weaknesses and help you grow in areas where there is a lack or gap in your leadership.

Leadership is often nourished and taught in the absence of faith. The Bible has much to say about leadership, by both instruction and example. In the context of faith, we were meant to be godly leaders.
